Hello, my name is Bank. I just had a minor procedure done in Korea a few days ago. Honestly, I'm still a bit swollen and have some bruising 😅 Is this normal?
Has anyone been through this before? Could you recommend any self-care tips during recovery to help reduce swelling and bruising? For example, how should I sleep, what should I avoid, or what can I use to feel more comfortable? I'm looking for general tips, not intensive medical advice, just everyday self-care.
My recovery is looking good so far, but I'm curious how others manage this and how long I need to be patient. Thanks in advance! 🙏

I totally get that feeling! I just had a small procedure done in Seoul last week, and I'm still quite swollen and bruised 😅 They say it's normal, and everyone heals differently. I'm trying to keep my head elevated and drink plenty of water, hoping it goes away soon!
To Bank, thank you for your hard work! I've had a similar experience, so I really understand how you feel 😅 Swelling and bruising are definitely concerning, aren't they? In my case, I felt a little better by sleeping with my head elevated as much as possible and gently applying a cold towel. I also think it's important to avoid irritation. While it varies from person to person how long it takes to fully settle, I felt much better after about 1-2 weeks. If you have aftercare instructions from the clinic, following those is best!
Hi Bank! Great work! I had a very similar experience last month, so I really empathize with you 😅 Swelling and bruising can be so frustrating, can't they? In my case, sleeping with a slightly elevated pillow and avoiding cold foods helped things calm down considerably in about two weeks. I think the best approach is to just take it easy and see how things progress 💪
Hello Bank! I'm also considering a similar small treatment, and seeing your share is really helpful 😊 It sounds like you're feeling much better now, which reassures me a lot, as I was also worried about swelling for a long time!
