Hi everyone! I'm Shanshan, from Taiwan. I'm recently considering getting some beauty treatments in Seoul, but I'm a bit worried about the language barrier. My English is okay, but not super fluent, and Chinese is obviously no problem. I wanted to ask if anyone has consulted using only English or Chinese. Did you find that you couldn't understand what the doctor or consultant was saying and ended up being misled (haha)?
I've looked at the official websites of some medical aesthetic clinics, and they all seem to mention foreign language services, but I'm not sure if it's actually very troublesome in practice. Has anyone had any experiences they can share? For example, do you absolutely need to bring a translator, or can you communicate directly in English? What I really want to confirm is whether I can fully understand the treatment details and potential situations when using a mix of Chinese and English.
Thanks everyone! If anyone has similar experiences, please help me out with some answers!
