How to care for swelling and bruising after a minor surgery? Seeking everyone's experience and tips.

Hi everyone! It's Xiao Ting. I just had a minor procedure done in Seoul, and after coming back, my face is a bit swollen and bruised. The doctor gave me some basic aftercare instructions, but I'd love to hear about your real-life experiences. Has anyone undergone a similar treatment? How did you take care of your skin during that period?

I'm a little worried about how long the swelling will last and I'm not sure about the best way to alternate between cold and warm compresses. Does anyone know roughly how long it takes for the swelling to subside? Also, do you have any skincare tips for the bruising? I'm diligently taking the medication prescribed by the doctor and trying to drink plenty of water, but I still want to know how everyone else managed during their recovery.
