Hi everyone, I'm Hsinyi from Taiwan. I'm currently considering getting a cosmetic procedure in South Korea, but honestly, I'm a little uneasy because it's overseas. I'd like to ask you all, how do you usually verify the reliability of clinics? Especially regarding language, do you need to confirm if they offer English or Chinese consultation services?
I've seen some clinics online that seem to have translators, but I'm not sure how it works. Has anyone tried it? Are there any misunderstandings or communication problems during translation? Also, if I need a consultation, how should I ask to ensure the doctor truly understands my needs and expectations?
Another question is, are there any other things to consider when choosing a clinic? For example, what questions should I ask beforehand, or what documents should I look for? I know pre-treatment consultations are important, but I'm a bit unsure where to begin. Could anyone share their experiences? Thank you so much!

Hi Shin! I totally understand the language concerns; I was like that myself during my first consultation. By the way, based on your experience searching online, have you come across any Taiwanese forums or communities that discuss this? It seems like many people have tried it and can share tips directly. 😊
Hey Shin! I totally get your worries — I'm actually from the US and considering something similar, so the language barrier thing is so real for me too. I've heard from a few people that asking lots of questions during the initial consultation and maybe bringing a written list of what you want (even if translated) can really help with the communication. Fingers crossed we both find trustworthy places!
