Hi everyone! I'm Peiyun from Taiwan. I'm considering getting a minor cosmetic procedure in Seoul, but I'm worried about the language barrier. My English is okay, and Chinese is no problem, but my Korean is practically nonexistent, haha.
I'd like to ask if anyone has had a consultation at a clinic in Seoul? Is English or Chinese sufficient for the initial consultation? I'm a little worried that unclear communication might affect the results or safety, but I don't want to learn Korean just for one treatment XD. Can anyone share their experience? Should I ask the clinic beforehand if they have Chinese-speaking staff?
If I were to go, I might choose a region with many international clients. I've heard that places are more accustomed to language barriers? But I'm not entirely sure, so I'm asking for your suggestions. Thank you!

I'm planning something similar, so I understand your concerns! I think the best approach is to contact them beforehand to ask if they have staff who speak Chinese or English, as that's really important for ensuring clear communication.
I'm just looking forward to meeting you! I'm thinking of having our first meeting in English. It seems like a good idea to call first and ask if you can speak Chinese first.
During my years of treatment in Seoul, my English was usually good, but it's always a good idea to ask in advance by email if there is a voice assistant! This way there will be better understanding.
