I'm Linh, and I'm currently thinking about flying to Korea for a cosmetic procedure, but I'm a bit worried about the overall cost. I've done some research, but the procedure cost itself is one thing, and then there's the flight ticket, accommodation, transportation... and I don't know how long I'll need to stay for proper recovery. Has anyone been through this? Could you share how you planned your trip?
I'm trying to figure out the best time to fly, which areas are the cheapest yet convenient and close to the clinic, and most importantly, how many days I need to book. I'm assuming I might be swollen and in pain after the procedure, so I probably shouldn't travel immediately. But I also don't know the typical recovery period to plan accurately.
Has anyone calculated the total budget for such a trip and can share their approach? I'd like to know if I should factor in the cost of an extra room for follow-ups, or if video calls are an option. Thanks so much, ladies!

I'm thinking the same thing, Lin! The most complicated part is definitely planning recovery and how long I need to stay in Korea. From what I've read on forums, most people prefer to stay for at least 1-2 weeks for a more relaxed recovery before heading home. It does increase the budget significantly because you have to factor in longer accommodation, but it seems worth it compared to the stress of flying while still swollen 😅

I'm trying to figure out if I should book like 10 days or closer to 2 weeks to be safe.
