Hi, it's Aya. I want to get beauty treatments in Korea, but honestly, I can't read much Korean, so I'm completely lost when I look at review sites 😅
There are reviews in Japanese and English too, but I'm not sure how much I can really trust them. I'm especially wondering if there's a way to spot reviews that seem a bit suspicious. Are there any obvious red flags that suggest they've been manipulated or that I shouldn't believe?
I'd love to hear from people who have actually had treatments in Korea, especially those who have navigated the language barrier to do their research. How do you decide when choosing a clinic? Do you use translation apps? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Honestly, I felt the same way before my trip! I used Google Translate on reviews and looked for ones with actual before/afters and specific details rather than super generic praise—those vague glowing ones always felt off to me. Also, I asked in English on local beauty forums and got real answers from people who'd actually been there, which helped way more than trying to decode written reviews alone!
