Hello everyone, I'm Linh from Vietnam. I'm planning to try pore endoscopy or something similar in South Korea, but I'm having trouble because I can't read Korean. I've seen a lot of reviews on local websites, but I can only rely on images and Google Translate, which doesn't feel very safe.
Does anyone have experience navigating reviews as a foreigner? What signs should I be wary of? For example, reviews posted too soon, just a few days later, or everything being 100% perfect... are those red flags? I also don't know whether to trust before-and-after photos because they can be edited.
I want to make the right decision before flying over. Can anyone share their experiences or tips? Thank you so much! 🙏

Hey Lin, I totally feel you on this! I'm from the US and had the same anxiety before coming here — honestly, I just looked for posts with mixed reviews (not all 5 stars 😅) and tried to find accounts from other international people who could describe their actual experience in English. The before/afters can definitely be tricky with lighting and angles, so I always tried to focus more on what people *said* about how they felt after rather than just the photos. Might be worth reaching out to clinics directly to see if anyone on their team speaks English or Vietnamese — many places here are pretty good about that now!
Hi Lin! I totally understand your concerns 😅 I felt the same way at first. But try to look for reviews with actual before-and-after photos over time (like on day 1, 7, and 30) rather than reviews that seem to show complete results within just a few days. When you're considering feedback, focus on the recurring points rather than reviews that seem too good to be true. And if you don't understand the language, try looking for international communities where people have gone through similar experiences; it might help a lot.
