Hi everyone, I'm Uyen from Vietnam. I'm researching aesthetic clinics in Seoul, but I'm facing a challenge because I don't speak Korean, making it difficult to read reviews on local platforms. I can only find English reviews or machine-translated Korean ones, and machine translations aren't very clear.
I'd like to ask if any of you have experience reading reviews while traveling in South Korea. Are there any ways to verify if a review is trustworthy? I'm concerned about fake reviews or those that are overly promotional.
Also, could you point out any "red flags" I should be aware of? For example, any warning signs that I should overlook or not trust? I've noticed a few clinics with unusually good reviews, but I'm not sure if that's a suspicious sign.
I hope those with experience can share their insights with me. Thank you so much! 🙏

I had the same issue when I first started looking into it! 😅 Honestly, I think the best way is to ask Vietnamese people who have been there directly, or look for English articles from foreigners because they often provide more detailed experiences. As for reviews that seem too perfect, I'd be wary of those too, as they're often just advertisements.
I feel the same way! At first, I couldn't understand Korean reviews either 😅 My tip is to look at before-and-after photos from actual users because promotional reviews tend to be too polished and perfect. Then, try asking Thai people who have been there before because we speak the same language 🙌 Good luck!
