Hello, my name is Kae, and I'm planning to get beauty treatments in Seoul, South Korea. However, I'm a bit concerned about the language barrier. My English is decent, but not fluent. Has anyone tried to consult about treatments using only English? Was it successful, or did you feel the need to hire an interpreter?
I don't want to ramble on. I just want to know how most clinics handle international clients and what their approach is. Kei-san, I totally get it! I was worried about the language barrier at first too, but once I went, many clinics showed me pictures or communicated with simple English. If it's not a complex procedure, I think basic English plus a translation app will be fine. I also recommend briefly explaining your wishes via email during the consultation beforehand!
