My name is Nhi, and I'm planning a trip to South Korea for a cosmetic procedure, but I'm quite worried about the total cost. I know the procedure itself might be cheaper there than in Vietnam, but when you add in airfare, accommodation, food, etc., the total amount will be quite substantial. I'm also unsure how long I should stay, and whether I should allow extra time for recovery.
Has anyone had this experience before? Could you share how you calculated your expenses? For example, how many days should I stay? Do I need to return immediately, or can I stay longer for a more restful recovery? I want to understand the entire process and the necessary timeframe better.
Regarding the money, I plan to save gradually, but I'm still unsure what a reasonable budget target would be. If anyone has experience or practical advice, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you so much! 💕

I totally understand the concern! From my experience, a minimum of 5-7 days in Korea is sufficient—so you have time to process the procedure and not fly home right away. I also suggest not just calculating the treatment costs, but the total, including flights, hotel, and meals, to make your planning more realistic. Hopefully, you can save up the funds; it's definitely worth it! 💕
I totally understand how you feel, Nee-san 😅 I'm struggling with the same thing. Flights and hotels can really add up to a lot of money, right? I've heard it's important to plan your stay with plenty of leeway for recovery, but I'm still not sure how long that actually is...I'd love to hear from anyone with experience!
I totally relate to you, Nii! 😅 It's true that the total cost is higher when you combine flights and hotels, but from what I've heard from friends, some people prefer to stay for just 5-7 days so they have time to recover but not stay too long. Hopefully someone can share their experience with the budget breakdown!
I also went from Taiwan, and I think your budget considerations are very practical! I stayed for about 10 days, which gave me enough time to complete the treatments without being too rushed. Actually, besides the treatment costs, you can control your accommodation and meals yourself. Some of my friends saved a lot of money by staying in guesthouses or Airbnbs. I suggest you first decide what treatments you want, and then work backwards to figure out how many days you need to stay. This will make your budget much clearer. Good luck! 💪
