Hi everyone, I'm Thanh from Vietnam. I'm planning to research aesthetic treatments in Korea, but the problem is I'm not very good at reading Korean. When I look at reviews on websites, I only see Korean and Chinese text, and I don't understand anything 😭 Do you have any ways to check reviews while still feeling confident? Or should I just rely on before-after photos?
I also want to know if, besides not being able to read the language, are there any other "red flags" I should watch out for? For example, reviews that are too good to be true, or reviews that are all 5 stars with no one mentioning any discomfort... If you have any experience, please share it with me. I want to prepare thoroughly before planning my budget 🙏

I completely understand your concern 😅 When I first arrived, I used Google Translate to read comments and tried to focus on before-and-after photos from several different accounts to see the real results. I noticed that very strange or overly perfect reviews might not be reliable, but when I saw the same results from different people, I felt more confident about something!
Hi Tan, I'm also from Vietnam, so I understand your concerns! 😅 Have you tried asking the clinic directly if they have staff who speak English or Vietnamese, and if they can explain the reviews on their site? I've noticed many places now have English-speaking staff to assist international clients.
Hey Tan, I totally get your concern — I'm from the US and facing the same language barrier honestly! I've been trying to figure out which places are legit too, and yeah, those all-5-star reviews with no real details do feel sketchy. I'm thinking about asking clinics directly if they have any English-speaking staff or if they can connect me with past clients who speak English, just to get a more honest sense of things before committing. Have you tried reaching out to places with a simple email or message? Might be worth a shot!
I totally get how you feel! 😅 At first, I was also confused about which reviews to trust, especially since most were in Korean and Chinese. But based on my experience, try looking for before-and-after photos that look natural and see if the review has any downsides or questionable points. (If it's all 5 stars, I'd be a bit suspicious.) You could also try finding other Thai people who have been there and ask them directly for a more realistic account!
