Hi! My name is Om, and I'm from Thailand. I'm planning to get aesthetics treatment in Korea, but I'm having trouble reading reviews because I'm not good at reading Korean 😅 Has anyone else experienced this?
I see a lot of reviews on Naver and Instagram, but sometimes it's hard to tell which ones are reliable or if they're just made up. Some reviews seem very genuine, while others seem like scams. Does anyone have any tips on how to read reviews properly and avoid being misled?
Also, I'd like to know what signs to watch out for when talking to a clinic. Has anyone ever looked at a consultation and felt that some places seemed unreliable? I'm a complete beginner, so I'm hoping for advice from those with experience. 🙏

Hi Om! I was also nervous at first, but I found one good thing — it was very helpful to exchange your results with friends before the consultation, or to ask for an English-speaking consultant. Of course, if you are thinking about the need, ask this very question, ask for printed materials — this will make it easier to understand the way! 💪
I'm also a foreigner, so I completely understand your concerns! Do you have any friends in Korea right now, or are you planning to go and seek advice on your own? I think the safest way is to have a reliable friend accompany you or find someone who understands Korean to help translate your questions. This can avoid a lot of misunderstandings.
I'm also a foreigner and I'm currently considering doing a project in Korea, so I totally understand your concerns! My advice is to try to read reviews with specific details and before-and-after photos, and also to ask more questions during consultations, and trust your intuition—if you feel that the doctor or consultant is pressuring you or exaggerating, then you should probably be wary.
I'm a foreigner too, and I was confused at first too! My experience is to look at consultations from several clinics and compare their statements to see if they're consistent, and whether the doctor is genuinely listening to your needs or just trying to sell you something. Also, look for posts with video consultations; they reveal more about the real situation than just text reviews!
