Hi everyone! I'm Huiwen from Taiwan. I'm recently considering getting some aesthetic consultations in Seoul, but honestly, I'm a bit worried about the language barrier. My English is okay, and Chinese is no problem, but I don't know Korean. Has anyone had a similar experience? Are English or Chinese sufficient for consultations at clinics? Or should I learn some basic Korean first?
I've seen many people say that aesthetic clinics in Seoul are quite familiar with international clients, but I'm still a bit uneasy, fearing that some details might not be communicated clearly. Has anyone tried translation apps? Or are there many clinics with Chinese-speaking consultants? I know it might vary from clinic to clinic, but I just want to understand everyone's experiences first.
If any sisters have been there, could you share? I'd especially like to hear how you handled communication, so I can prepare. Thanks!

Love your question! When I went for a consultation at Saúl, I had the same concern. But actually, most people working in consultations speak English and Chinese very well. Some places even have translation apps ready. I brought pictures and wrote things down beforehand, then explained verbally. I think this process really helped with clear communication 😊
