I'm not entirely happy with my eye shape and have been considering double eyelid surgery, but the quotes I've seen in Taiwan feel a bit high. A friend recently went to Seoul for it, and the results looked good when she came back, so I've started seriously thinking about flying over for the procedure. However, I'm a little worried: will the total cost of round-trip flights, accommodation, and surgery fees actually save me that much money? Plus, I'd have to fly back after the surgery, and if there's any need for an immediate follow-up, the distance seems like it would be quite inconvenient.

Has anyone else flown from overseas to Seoul for this kind of surgery? Do you think it was worth it overall? Besides the price, are there any other factors I should consider? For example, communication with the doctor, post-operative follow-up, etc. Right now, I'm weighing whether to find a trusted doctor in Taiwan or put in the effort to research options in Seoul. Any advice or shared experiences are welcome!
