Hi everyone, I'm Thanh from Vietnam. Yesterday I had a minor procedure here and now my face is a little swollen and bruised. I'm not worried, but I want to make sure I'm taking proper care to get rid of it quickly.
Have any of you experienced this before? I'm wondering what I should and shouldn't do in the next few days. I've heard about avoiding the sun, not touching the area, drinking enough water... but I'd like to hear about your real-life experiences. Does anyone have any tips to help the swelling and bruising go away faster? What should I pay attention to when choosing cosmetics during this time?
Oh, and I also want to ask how long it usually takes for everyone to return to normal? I know everyone is different, but I just want to have some general idea. Thank you all so much! 🙏

After reading your story, I understand how uncomfortable the swelling and bruising must be 😅 When I tried that treatment in Korea, honestly, avoiding the sun, not touching my face, and drinking water really helped me. But personally, I found that cooling (like using an ice pack) also helped alleviate the symptoms. I won't comment on recovery time because everyone is different; your doctor will probably give you the details that are most suitable for you!
Hi Tan! I've been through something similar and totally understand how it feels to be nervous 😅 From my experience, the most important thing is to rest and not do too much activity, because too much movement can make the swelling last longer. I also avoided skincare products that are too active or contain alcohol for the first week — just use super gentle ones. I hope you get better soon!
