Hey everyone, this is Hong from Vietnam, and I'm planning to try some aesthetic services in Korea this time. But I'm having trouble because my Korean isn't very good yet, so it's really difficult to read reviews on local sites. I've been using Google Translate, but I feel like it's not very accurate, especially for the small details about the experience.
Has anyone else been in a similar situation and found a way to trust reviews more? For example, should I look for reviews from other foreigners, or are there any warning signs I should pay attention to? I also want to know if there are "fake" or overly optimistic reviews, and how to spot them?
What do you all usually do to be sure before choosing a place? I don't want to rush and regret it later. Thanks so much, everyone!

I'm also a foreigner and am currently considering getting some treatments done in Korea, so I completely understand your concerns! My experience is to try and find places with English or Chinese reviews, or to look at other people's experiences on international forums. Sometimes, comparing opinions from different sources can be more reassuring. Your cautious approach is absolutely right; there's no need to rush into a decision. Taking your time to compare will definitely give you more peace of mind 💕
I'm also thinking about trying some treatments in Korea, so your questions are really practical! I think your cautious approach is spot on; there's no need to rush. My experience is that if all the reviews are super positive and sound like ad copy, they can be a bit suspicious. Reviews that mention real experiences, even with minor downsides, tend to be more credible. Maybe you could try looking for shared experiences from other foreigners on international social media or forums. Sometimes their perspectives can be more useful! Keep at it, let's research together slowly 💪
