Hi everyone, I'm Maki. I'm planning to go to Seoul next month for a beauty treatment consultation, but I'm a bit worried about the language barrier…😅 I've heard that English works to some extent, but I'm wondering what it's actually like? I've also heard that some clinics have staff who speak Japanese, but would a consultation in English only be fine?
To be honest, I'm concerned about medical terminology and the nuances of detailed explanations…. Of course I'll bring a translation app, but I think it's better to talk directly. Has anyone actually been to Seoul for a consultation? Did you run into any language issues?
Also, I'm wondering if I can ask questions in advance via email or something like that…. If possible, I'd like to explain things in detail in Japanese before I go. If anyone has experience with this, I'd really appreciate any advice!
