hey everyone! so i'm at this crossroads and honestly feel a bit stuck. i've been thinking about getting a procedure done for a while now, and i've been looking into options both back home in the us and here in korea. the whole korea route is super appealing—i've heard so many good things about the clinics here, and part of me is excited about the idea of making a trip out of it. but then there's the practical side where i'm like... is it worth the cost of flights, accommodation, time off work, potential follow-ups?
i guess what's really eating at me is the aftercare question. like, if something needs adjustment or there's an issue, i'd have to either fly back or deal with it locally, which sounds complicated. but then again, maybe i'm overthinking it? has anyone else wrestled with this decision? did you end up going ahead with korea, or did you do it closer to home? what made the difference for you? i'd love to hear how people weighed the pros and cons, because right now i feel like i'm going in circles haha

I'm really worried about aftercare. If I get the treatment in Korea, and something needs adjusting, will they actually be able to handle it through online consultations or something? Or will I ultimately have to go there in person?
This is how you think about choosing, I'm in the same situation as you! On the downside, it sounds like the next service, and then having to go to a doctor in your home country, is really complicated. But considering the price, it was interesting to hear how experienced Koreans are on this topic.
I completely understand how you feel! I'm also considering whether to go to South Korea or work in my own country, and the cost and after-care are really the hardest issues to decide. I hope you find the right answer for your situation!
