I visited an online community to look through posts about my acne scars, and I frequently saw comments about receiving "new skin acupuncture" treatment at a Korean medicine clinic. So, I decided to visit one myself! I went to the Cheonan branch near my home, and the procedure itself was pretty standard. It’s not like I’ve only had injections in my face once or twice... it felt like I just closed my eyes and it was over. However, when they checked my scars at the beginning, they said I would likely need about 5 to 6 sessions, so I thought, "Oh, 6 sessions..." and went ahead. Also, I didn't really feel like the scars were filling in until the second session, so I thought I had been scammed... But starting from the third session, I began to feel the skin filling in little by little, and by the end of the 6 sessions, the scars had completely faded and filled in to the point where you couldn't tell they were there unless you looked very closely. So, the conclusion is: the reviews for new skin acupuncture weren't a scam after all? Sorry for doubting you... They did tell me before the treatment that results may vary depending on the scar. Of course, I may not have the definitive answer, but I am leaving this review because I think it is a treatment worth trying if you have scars on your face.
