At the time of the accident, I thought I hadn't sustained any major injuries.
I was relieved when the emergency room confirmed there were no serious issues, but a few days later, my neck and lower back started feeling uncomfortable.
At first, I thought it was simply due to tension, but as time went on, the stiffness worsened, and the discomfort became more pronounced when sitting for long periods or driving.
In particular, whenever I drove, I would tense up for no reason and become self-conscious about even minor bumps.
Even distances that usually felt fine would leave my neck feeling heavy and my lower back aching after driving,
making me feel much more tired.
After the accident, it felt like I was constantly on edge, not only physically but also psychologically.
I started receiving treatment based on a recommendation from someone. While it was nice to feel better physically,
I was even more satisfied that my anxiety about the aftereffects of the accident had diminished.
With consistent care, the stiffness in my neck has significantly decreased, and my lower back feels more comfortable than before,
making long-distance driving less burdensome. I’ve heard that symptoms from traffic accidents often appear after some time has passed, rather than immediately after the accident.
Instead of enduring the pain thinking it will be okay like I did, I think it would be a good idea to check your condition.

The mental tension is really intense after an accident. I'm curious where you received treatment.
Thanks so much for sharing this — I really relate to the delayed symptoms part, that's actually what worries me most about accidents. I've been thinking about getting checked out after a minor fender bender a few weeks ago, and hearing that consistent care really helped with both the physical stuff and the anxiety makes me feel better about reaching out for help. Glad you're feeling so much better now!
I totally understand how you feel! I've been through something similar before. I thought the accident wasn't serious at the time, but afterwards my neck and lower back were constantly uncomfortable, and I was extremely nervous while driving. Hearing that you've improved a lot through treatment is really encouraging. It seems we can't ignore those delayed symptoms!
Wow, this is exactly what I felt after the accident last month! At first I thought it would be fine, but a few days later my neck and back became really sore, especially if I had to work in front of a laptop for a long time or drive. The most stressful thing was getting nervous every time I got in a car, hehe. Glad to hear you're feeling better, it encourages me to get more check-ups so it doesn't get worse!
Oh my god, I've been through that too! I only started experiencing various physical discomforts after the car accident, it was really distressing. I especially understand the psychological tension you mentioned, because I'm always very tense when I drive afterward, sometimes it even affects my facial expressions 😅 Later, a friend suggested I relax, so I started doing some soothing treatments regularly. Although it was mainly for relaxation, I found that my mindset improved as well. Is your physical condition much better now?
I truly sympathize with you after reading your story. I had a minor accident myself, and at first I thought it was nothing, but a few days later it started hurting badly. And it really affects your mental health too. I'm glad you're finding ways to take care of yourself and recover properly. I hope you get well soon!
