Hello, my name is Gift and I'm preparing to be one of the first to undergo beauty treatments in South Korea. However, I'm facing a problem: I can't read Korean at all 😭. This makes it incredibly difficult to search for and read genuine reviews. I'm feeling a bit lost. Can anyone offer advice on what to look for when reading reviews and what red flags to watch out for? I'm worried about potentially encountering fake reviews or overly casual recommendations.
I've been gathering information from various sources, including Korean reviews, international reviews, and even friends of friends. But sometimes, the information is highly contradictory. Are there others who do the same as me? And how do you actually review information before you trust it? Which language should I trust more, and why? Regardless, thank you in advance! 💕

Hi Gift! I completely understand your concerns. I'm also a foreigner considering treatments, and language barriers are really frustrating 😭 What I do now is look for platforms with English or other language reviews, and then see if there are any experiences shared by other international users. It feels more trustworthy that way. Keep going, we'll figure it out together slowly!
Gift, I understand you! I'm in the same situation, so I know this is a very difficult question 😅 Unfortunately, I have to use a translator, and I don't fully understand the various downsides, but now that I've asked my husband about it with his friends, I understand. This is a very smart thing!
