Hello, it's Sayaka. I'm planning to get cosmetic procedures in Seoul this fall, but I'm worried about the language barrier. I'm not very fluent in English, and Japanese is what I'm most comfortable with.
Realistically, how much Japanese support do cosmetic clinics in Seoul offer? Or are there many places that can handle things reasonably well in English...? Of course, I'll bring a translation app, but I'm concerned about whether I can properly convey my requests during consultations.
If anyone has actually been there, I'd be happy if you could share your experience. For example, were there Japanese-speaking staff, or was it manageable with English? Also, I'm curious about how you made reservations and communicated beforehand. Please give me some advice!

I'm actually thinking about going to Seoul soon too, and from what I've heard from other people online, a lot of places in the beauty district do have English-speaking staff, but yeah, having Japanese would definitely be a plus. I'm planning to contact places ahead of time through their websites or messaging apps to ask about language support before I book—that way there's no surprises when I show up. Definitely bring a translation app just in case, but honestly most consultants seem pretty used to working with international clients!
