Hi everyone, I'm new here. I'm currently considering getting a cosmetic procedure done in Korea, but I've run into a problem—my Korean isn't very good, and I can't understand most of the reviews on review websites. Sometimes I use translation software, but I always feel the translations might not be accurate, especially regarding medical details.
I'd like to ask you all, how do you, as foreigners, screen and trust clinics? Are there any red flags I should be wary of? For example, what kind of reviews sound suspicious? I'm particularly interested in knowing if I should only look at reviews written by foreign users, or if local reviews are also important.
Also, has anyone used any objective methods to assess a clinic's qualifications and experience? I want to do my research thoroughly and avoid being misled by false advertising. I would be extremely grateful if anyone could share their experiences or advice!

Yes, same here. Translation is a big problem 😅 I try to find clinics with English-speaking staff, ask lots of questions before booking to be clear, and ask to see actual results, not just what's promoted. That's how I gradually gained trust in them.
