Hi everyone, I'm Xinyi, from China. I'm currently considering some cosmetic procedures in South Korea, but I've encountered a problem—many clinic reviews and descriptions are in Korean, and my Korean is very limited. Even reviews translated using translation software sometimes sound strange, and I'm really unsure which are genuine patient testimonials and which might be advertisements.
I'd like to ask everyone, as a foreign user, how can I identify reliable reviews? For example, what wording or content in the reviews might make me feel something's off? I've heard that some clinics post fake reviews, but I don't know how to spot the subtle clues.
Also, if I can't understand Korean at all, should I find a friend who can translate and consult with me? Or are there other ways to obtain more objective information? Thank you so much for your suggestions!
