I'm not just worried about the procedure itself, but also about airfare, accommodation, food, and time off work. I've never done medical tourism before, so I don't know how to prepare.

I'd like to ask those of you who have had this done: How long do you usually stay? Besides the day of the procedure, how many days of recovery are needed? I think staying for 5-7 days is recommended for peace of mind, but I'm not sure if that's necessary. And based on your experience, how much does the entire trip cost compared to the procedure itself? I want to create a realistic financial plan before deciding.
