Hey everyone! I'm Jessica from the US and I've been seriously considering getting a double eyelid procedure done in Seoul. I've always been curious about it, but lately I've been doing a ton of research and honestly I'm a bit torn about whether it's worth the whole international trip thing.
I know Korea has a huge reputation for aesthetic procedures and I've seen some amazing results from people who've gone there, but I keep wondering if I'm just buying into the hype? Like, the logistics alone seem kind of intense—flights, finding accommodation, figuring out consultations and aftercare when I'm back home. Plus there's the whole language barrier thing, even though I know a lot of clinics have English-speaking staff. I guess I'm also nervous about flying right after a procedure and all that healing time.
Has anyone here traveled internationally for something like this? I'd love to hear if you think the quality difference justified the trip and expense for you, or if you ended up deciding to just go somewhere local. And how did you even handle the recovery part when you were so far from home? I'm genuinely trying to figure out if this is something that makes sense for me or if I'm overthinking it!

Jessica! I was literally thinking the same thing! I was so surprised to see your post 😅 I totally understand the concerns about flights, finding accommodation, and the long-distance recovery aspect.
