Hello everyone, I'm Rui, and I've been seriously considering getting double eyelid surgery in Seoul recently. My friends have mostly told me that Korean aesthetics and techniques might be a better fit for Asian eyes, but I'm still a bit hesitant – after all, taking time off, booking flights, and finding accommodation aren't cheap. I'm wondering if any sisters who've had it done from China can share if they felt it was worth the cost?

My biggest dilemma right now is whether I should find a doctor in China or if it's really necessary to go to Seoul. I've looked at some cases online and the results from Seoul do seem to have a different style, but I'm not sure if it's genuinely because the doctors are more skilled, or if it's due to photo editing and angles. Also, will there be language barriers during consultations? My English is okay, but I'm still a bit worried about discussing surgical details.

If I do decide to go, I plan to start planning well in advance to allow ample recovery time. But first, I'd love to hear everyone's advice – do you think it's worth traveling abroad specifically for this surgery? Or has anyone experienced a comparison between getting it done domestically versus internationally? Thanks so much!
