Hello ladies, I'm Maryam from the UAE and I'm seriously considering going to Korea for a cosmetic procedure, but honestly, I'm worried about the costs and planning. I don't know how many days I'll actually need to stay there. Can I go, have the procedure, and come back in the same week, or will I need more time?
I don't want to be surprised by extra costs later, so I'd like to know the general expectations for flights, hotels, and food there. Is it better to go alone, or do I need someone with me? Also, does the procedure itself take one day, or are there several sessions spread out? Because this will change all my budget and vacation plans.
If any of you have been through this and can help me plan, I would be very grateful. I want to be realistic and know all the details before I make a final decision.

Hi Mariam, I hope you're safe! I've also traveled from Japan to Korea for cosmetic procedures, and honestly, the length of your stay varies considerably depending on the type of procedure. In my case, the procedure only took a few days, but I had to adjust my schedule while monitoring the recovery time, so I think it's best to allow at least a week. In terms of budget, it can get quite expensive if you include accommodation and meals in addition to the procedure itself, so it's important to do your research beforehand. Whether you go alone or with someone else is something you should decide based on your own pace 😊
Hey Mariam! In my experience, most procedures can be completed in a few days, but recovery time depends on the type of treatment—some can be discharged immediately, while others require a few days for the swelling to subside. I think a week here is enough for the procedure plus initial rest, and I also think using a companion is great because it's so convenient, especially on the first day after treatment. I hope these tips help you with your planning!
