Hello everyone! I'm Hesti from Indonesia, and I'm planning a small treatment in Korea next month. But honestly, I'm a bit confused about how to find a trustworthy clinic if I can't read Korean well. I see tons of reviews online, but I'm not sure which ones are genuine and which ones aren't.
Does anyone have any tips on how to evaluate reviews as a foreigner? For example, are there any red flags I should avoid? I'm worried that the before-and-after photos on websites are overly edited or dishonest. Plus, I don't know if the testimonials on some platforms are trustworthy or just propaganda.
What method do you use to choose? Is it better to ask friends who have been there, or is there a more reliable review platform in your opinion? I'd really appreciate it if you shared your experiences! Thank you in advance!

Hi Heidi! This is also my first time getting a treatment in Korea, so I totally understand your concerns. Have you considered having a friend consult with them in Korean? I'm doing that now, and it makes me feel much more at ease than just reading comments 😄
Hi Hastie! I was wondering if you've tried asking in chat groups or forums for foreigners living in Korea? Those groups often have people sharing real experiences.
I totally understand how you feel! I'm a foreigner too, and at first it was hard to tell which reviews were genuine. My advice is to try to find reviews with detailed descriptions and before-and-after photos, rather than just a few words of praise; those seem more credible. Also, if you know anyone in Korea or has relevant experience, asking them for their honest opinions would be even more reliable. 😊
Hesti, I'm wondering the same thing! I totally agree about how hard it is to differentiate between genuine reviews and promotional ones. What I do is try to find reviews from multiple platforms at once, so I can see the pattern—if they all say the same thing, it's a bit more believable, hehe. Hopefully, we both find a good place and succeed! 🤞
