Hi everyone! I'm planning a trip to Korea next month for a few minor treatments and I'm still unsure about the aftercare products I should bring from home. I know Korea has a ton of cooling mask and recovery-specific skincare options, but I'm not sure if I should buy them there or bring them from Indonesia.
Does anyone have experience with this? Do you usually bring cooling gels or silicone scar sheets from home, or do you prefer to buy them after your treatment there? I'm a bit worried because I don't know which local products are suitable for recovery. Plus, I don't want to bring too many things but I also want to have a backup plan. Hahaha
Oh, and if you have any recommendations for types of aftercare products (not brand-specific) that are worth it, please share! I'd really appreciate any tips from those of you who have experience. Thanks! 💕

Hi there, are you planning to buy your post-treatment skincare products in Korea, or will you bring them from home? I'm also worried about the same thing, wondering if I should pack too much 😅
I completely understand your concerns! Last time I went, I also agonized over whether to bring a bunch of my own products. I found out that the clinic staff will actually recommend some basic skincare products to you once you're there, and Korea truly has many options for post-procedure recovery. My advice is to bring one or two products you trust the most as backups, but you don't need to lug everything yourself. This way, you can lighten your luggage burden while still having peace of mind 😄
Haha I totally get the luggage anxiety! Honestly, I'd suggest bringing the basics you know work for your skin from home (like a gentle cleanser and moisturizer) since aftercare can be so personal, but leaving room to pick up any cooling or recovery-specific stuff once you're there—your clinic will probably have good recommendations for what works best post-treatment anyway.
