Hello everyone, I'm Ting. I've been thinking about coming to Korea for a small procedure recently, but my Korean language skills are really basic, and it's a real headache when I try to read Korean forums and reviews. Sometimes I use translation software, but the meaning still feels ambiguous. I wanted to ask everyone, how do you, as foreigners, judge whether an institution's reviews are reliable? Are there any particular red flags to watch out for?
I've heard that some reviews might be fake or have a very strange perspective, but I don't really know how to tell. Also, does anyone have recommendations for which platforms or channels are safer to check? Should I look at reviews from several different places and then compare them?
Also, I'm particularly interested in what kind of statements or responses from institutions should make me wary. For example, guaranteeing 100% results, or prices that are ridiculously low... I'd love to hear from those who have been through this, thank you!

Ting, I totally get what you mean! I also used to get headaches trying to fully understand Korean reviews at first 😅 I realized it's important to compare multiple platforms and avoid extreme claims (like "100% guaranteed" or "super cheap"). Also, when you actually go for a consultation, I think the most reassuring thing is to confirm any questions you have, even if you have to use a translation app. Keep up the great work!
