Can the harvested fat be stored and transplanted again?

I am planning to undergo autologous fat grafting. Is it possible to freeze or store the fat harvested during surgery for future touch-ups or re-grafting to other areas? What are the storage temperatures, recommended maximum storage period, impacts on infection and cell viability, and legal and medical considerations?
