Hi everyone, I'm Yan. I've been considering getting double eyelid surgery in Seoul recently. I've consulted some doctors in China, but a friend told me that Korean aesthetics and techniques might better suit the results I want, so I'm tempted. However, I'm also hesitant. Is flying all the way there too much of a hassle? Round-trip airfare, accommodation, and taking time off work all add up to a significant cost.
I'd like to ask if anyone has traveled to Korea specifically for this kind of surgery? What was your experience like? Is the difference really noticeable, or can you find good doctors in China? I'm particularly interested in what it's like to recover in an unfamiliar city after surgery; will it be troublesome?
Also, if I decide to go, I'm not sure how to start contacting them or what I should pay attention to during the initial communication. I'm not particularly worried about the language, but the process will probably be different from in China, right? Can anyone share their experience? I'm currently weighing the pros and cons and haven't made a complete decision yet.

I'm considering this too! I understand your concerns; cost and time are definitely factors to consider. Many friends have told me that the surgical techniques in Korea are indeed different from those in China. The key is finding a doctor who suits you. I'm currently gathering information, and if you ultimately decide to go, please share your experience!
