Hi, this is Akari. I've been thinking about double eyelid surgery for a while now, but I'm torn between doing it in Japan or Seoul. I've heard that cosmetic medicine is advanced in Korea, and there are many stories from people who have actually had the procedure done there. But when I think about the cost of airfare and post-operative care... I'm honestly quite conflicted.
Besides the financial aspect, there's the language barrier, and I'm worried about whether I'll be able to get immediate help if any problems arise. Did people who went to Seoul get the results they wanted? Or are there people who regret not having the procedure done in Japan?
Honestly, I don't know how to decide. If anyone has had surgery in Seoul, I'd love to hear your experience. What criteria did you use to make your decision? Also, what was the pre-operative consultation like?

Akari, I understand! I'm worried about the same thing, especially the language barrier and aftercare. But from what I've heard from people who have actually gone through it, the pre-procedure counseling is very thorough, and it seems like many clinics offer interpretation services, so I think those kinds of places might be more reassuring.
