Hi, it's Isaaki. I'm thinking about getting some cosmetic procedures done in Korea this time, but honestly, I have no idea how to find a trustworthy clinic... 😅
What I'm particularly concerned about is the language barrier. I wonder how many clinics offer services in English or Japanese? I think it's important to be able to convey subtle nuances during consultations, so having an interpreter would be great...
When choosing a clinic that accepts international patients, what points do people usually check? What do you refer to, like websites or social media? Also, if anyone has experience with their first consultation, please tell me what it's like.
I don't have much knowledge yet, so I'd be happy to receive any basic advice!

Isaki-san, I totally get it! Language barriers are really tough, aren't they? 😭 I had the same worries and was full of anxiety at first. After all, whether the subtle nuances get across directly impacts satisfaction with the procedure, so I really think choosing a hospital with interpreter services is crucial. I'd love to hear more from others who have gone through this too 🙏
I'm also a foreigner, and when I went to Korea last year, I noticed that many hospital websites had Chinese or English introductions. You can check online first to see if there are any explanations for international patients 👀. I personally learned about it by reading reviews from real users on Xiaohongshu and YouTube, and then I directly emailed a few hospitals to ask if they offered translation services. This way is more reliable!
