Hi everyone! I'm Yunru from Taiwan. I'm considering going to Seoul for some skincare and beauty consultations, but I'm a little worried about the language barrier. My English is okay, but not fluent, and my Chinese is fine, of course. I'd like to ask about everyone's experience—is it enough to communicate in English or Chinese when consulting at clinics there? Or is it necessary to know Korean?
I've heard that many clinics in Seoul are quite accustomed to international clients, but I'm still a bit uneasy. If the doctor or consultant doesn't understand English, will it be difficult to explain important things like the desired results or allergies? Has anyone successfully overcome this hurdle?
Or does anyone know if clinics generally provide translation assistance? I really want to have the consultations, but smooth communication is very important to me. I hope someone with experience can share their insights! Thank you~
