I've always wanted to get double eyelid surgery, and honestly, the more I look into it, the more I'm seeing that Seoul seems to be THE place to do it. But I'm trying to figure out if it's actually worth the whole trip, the time off work, and everything that comes with traveling abroad for a procedure.

I guess my main questions are: have any of you done this as international patients? Like, was the whole experience—travel, recovery, follow-ups—manageable? And how did you decide if going to Korea was better than just finding someone local? I'm not even sure what the real cost difference is, or if it's just the reputation that makes me think it's cheaper or better. I'm genuinely torn between wanting quality results and not wanting to overcomplicate things.

Also, I'm curious about the recovery side of things. If I fly back to the US after surgery, how much downtime are we really talking about? I'd probably take a week off work, but I'm worried that might not be enough. Would love to hear from anyone who's actually done this and what you wish you'd known beforehand. Thanks!
