How did everyone decide whether to get treatment in Japan or South Korea?

Hi, my name is Aya. I've been struggling with this for a while: should I get cosmetic procedures done in Japan or Korea? How do other people make that decision?

Honestly, I'm drawn to the idea of getting procedures done in Korea. I often hear about their skill and experience, and many new trends seem to originate there. But on the other hand, with domestic procedures, aftercare is easier, and I feel more at ease knowing I can consult in Japanese if any problems arise. It's also difficult to calculate the total cost...
