Hi, I'm Ha from Vietnam. I'm planning to go to Korea for some aesthetic procedures, but honestly I have no idea where to start to find a reputable clinic. I'm really worried because not everyone has friends there to ask.
I'd like to know how you all usually find clinics? Do you rely on online reviews or ask in groups like this? And most importantly, I need someone who can explain things clearly in English or Vietnamese, because I don't know Korean at all.
I also want to ask what I should check when I visit a consultation? Like whether they have a professional translator, or if the doctor has experience with international patients? I don't want anything to go wrong later and have no one understand what happened.
Do you all have any experience or suggestions? Your feedback would help me so much!

I really understand your concerns! I want to ask — have you considered using translation software beforehand or finding a consultant who speaks Chinese or English to help you communicate before you go? I'm worried that even if you find a place with international patient experience, the language barrier could still leave you feeling uneasy.
Hey! I'm from abroad too and I totally get your worry about communication 😅 Before you book, have you tried reaching out to the clinic directly via email or chat to make sure they have staff who speak English or Vietnamese? From my experience, what really matters is how responsive they are when you first contact them—if they're responsive and explain things clearly, that's usually a good sign!
Hello! I'm also someone who came from abroad, so I totally understand your frustration. My experience has been to carefully email the facility beforehand to ask whether they conduct consultations in English, which helped me avoid any misunderstandings. I also found it really helpful to reach out to other people who speak the same language through Reddit or Facebook groups and hear about their experiences!
I completely understand your concern. I'm actually thinking about going to Korea too. Even though I don't have friends there, I've heard that connecting with expat groups like this and checking foreign reviews really helps a lot. Just make sure to verify beforehand that they have staff who speak English or Vietnamese, because it's really important to communicate clearly. You've got this!
