Hey everyone! I'm planning a trip to Korea in a few months and I'm thinking about getting some aesthetic work done while I'm there. I've heard so many good things about clinics here, but honestly I'm a bit nervous about how to actually find one I can trust, especially since I don't speak Korean.
Does anyone have tips on how you all vet clinics before booking? Like, what should I be looking for? And I'm also wondering—how important is it that they have someone who speaks English, or have people had good experiences with interpreters? I want to make sure I can actually communicate what I want during my consultation, you know?
Also, is there anything specific I should ask about or watch out for during the initial consultation? Any red flags I should know about? I'd really appreciate hearing from people who've gone through this process as foreigners. Thanks in advance!

I totally understand your concern! I was confused when I went for the first time too, but a good clinic will have English communication options or even Thai available. Personally, I like checking reviews from foreigners on various websites, and then I try to ask for details before booking to see how serious they are. Like, if they respond quickly and are attentive, it's usually a good sign 💕
I find that asking for referrals from friends of the same nationality or checking reviews from foreigners on social media is quite helpful. Because they'll share their experience with communication and what's easy to understand. I also asked a lot of questions in the consultation from the start to make sure they really understood what I actually wanted.
I get it. I really think it's important to communicate clearly. When you're looking for a clinic, try to see if they have before-and-after photos, and check if they have lots of reviews from abroad. And did people who went there actually use Google Translate or an interpreter?
