Hi, my name is Yuki. There's a beauty procedure I've been wanting to get for a while now, but I can't decide whether to do it in Korea or Japan. I've heard that it's cheaper in Korea, and there seems to be a wider variety of procedures available. But I'm also worried about things like the language barrier and aftercare...
For those of you who've actually had procedures done in Korea, how did you make your decision? What kind of preparations did you do beforehand? I'd love to hear everyone's experiences—whether you felt it was ultimately safer to go with Japan, or if you were actually glad you went with Korea. There are definitely scary aspects to consider, right?
If I had the time, I could go to Seoul and check out before-and-after results in person, which is appealing. But when I think about what would happen if something went wrong on-site... If anyone else has been torn like this, it would really help me to know what ultimately swayed your decision.

I totally get the hesitation! I'm in the same boat right now — the cost difference is huge and I've seen amazing before/afters from Seoul, but the aftercare worry is so real. Have you thought about doing a trip first just to meet with someone and get a feel for the place before committing? That way you could see how the consultation goes and maybe feel less nervous about the language barrier. Either way, I think it comes down to whether you'd rather have someone nearby if something feels off post-treatment, or if you're okay managing it from home with video calls and messaging.
I've been thinking about this too! I wanted to ask—have you come across any before-and-after comparison photos online? I feel like looking at photos can sometimes help you better understand the results, but I'm not entirely sure how trustworthy those photos are~ Do you have any reliable sources for information?
I totally understand your concern, Yuki 😅 I'm also standing at the same crossroads, hesitating between the two. Honestly, the language barrier and aftercare during emergencies are truly frightening things. But I've heard from many girls that Korea has really skilled clinics and cheaper prices, but the important thing is to choose a reliable place and perhaps read more reviews. I wish someone here had tried it and could tell us how they dealt with this fear 🙏
