Hi everyone, my name is Wen, and I'm currently considering a big decision. I've always been a little unhappy with the shape of my eyes, and lately, more and more friends have been saying that eye surgery in Seoul is quite good, so I've started seriously considering flying there specifically to have it done. But to be honest, I'm a bit unsure – after all, it involves taking time off work, buying plane tickets, finding accommodation, and potentially staying a few extra days for post-operative recovery; it all seems quite complicated.
I'd mainly like to hear everyone's thoughts. If any of you have flown from China specifically for similar surgery, do you really think it's worth it? My biggest dilemma right now is that there are doctors in China who can perform double eyelid surgery, so why go so far? Is it because the techniques are significantly inferior, or is it mainly a matter of personal style preference? I'd also like to ask how long the entire process, from consultation to recovery, usually takes, so I can better assess my schedule.
If I do decide to go, I don't know how to start preparing – will language be a problem? How far in advance should I contact them? Can anyone share their experience of the whole process? I know everyone's situation is different, but hearing real experiences will help me make a decision. Thank you!
