Hey everyone! I'm kind of stuck in decision paralysis right now. I'm thinking about getting a procedure done, and I keep going back and forth between just doing it at home in the US versus making the trip to Korea. I know Korea has an amazing reputation for this stuff and the clinics seem really thorough, but I'm honestly nervous about traveling for something medical, plus there's the whole recovery period to think about.
For anyone who's been in this situation — what made you finally choose one way or the other? Like, were you worried about followup care if you went to Korea? Or did you feel like the expertise and experience there was worth the hassle of travel? I'd love to hear what actually went into your decision, not just the outcome.
I guess I'm also wondering if anyone regretted their choice, or if there were things you didn't expect? I'm trying to be really realistic about this and not just get swept up in the hype, you know? Any honest thoughts would help me stop going in circles! 😅

I understand your concerns. Follow-up after treatment abroad is a really big issue. How are you planning to handle this? For example, if you need further check-ups or follow-ups? Or are you just going back to travel and do it again? :((
I'm also thinking the same thing, so I totally relate to your concerns! I think what makes me nervous is the post-care from afar, like what if there's something that needs to be consulted again after returning to Indonesia, it's complicated and the costs increase. I really want to hear from those who have experienced it firsthand how they handle that situation.
I totally understand your concerns! In my experience, the most important thing is to find out about their aftercare plan—like how to communicate with the doctor if you have questions after returning to Indonesia, how long online follow-ups can be, and so on. I also recommend chatting directly with someone who's been there, not just reading reviews, to get a real picture of recovery and what to expect.
