Is it worth going to Seoul? I'm struggling to decide on double eyelid surgery.

Hi, this is Nao. I've been thinking about getting double eyelid surgery for a while, but I'm wondering if I should go all the way to Seoul to have it done... I know I can get it done in Japan, but I've heard that the surgeons in Korea are better and it's cheaper. But when I think about the cost of airfare and accommodation, I'm wondering what the reality is.

For those who have had the surgery, how did you handle the pre-operative consultation? Was the language barrier okay? I'm not good at Korean, so I think I'll need an interpreter, which will increase the cost, right? Also, I'm worried about what kind of aftercare I'll get if any problems arise...

I'd like to hear from people who have actually had the surgery. Did you go casually as part of a trip, or did you plan a trip and stay for several days? Is it really better to get consultations at multiple clinics? How did you all make your decision?
