Hi, my name is Pat, and I'm currently considering going to Seoul to see a specialist for double eyelid surgery. I've heard that South Korea has many experienced doctors with good techniques, but I'm wondering if it's worth it. I need to consider the flight costs, accommodation, and the travel time back and forth.
I've actually already researched clinics in Thailand, but I'd like to know if there's a real difference in the surgical approach or the results. Could anyone who's been there please advise on the travel arrangements and follow-up after the procedure? I'm concerned about how to contact them if any problems arise after returning.
Also, I'm wondering about the recovery time. I don't know how long the surgery takes. If anyone has been there before, could you please share your experience in this area? Thank you in advance. 🙏

I'm thinking the same thing, Bat! People say the doctors there are very experienced, but like you, I'm worried about the follow-up appointments when I get home and the extra costs. Hopefully, we'll get answers from people who've actually been there 🤞
I was torn between Thailand and South Korea before finally going to Seoul. I think the main differences are the doctors' aesthetic styles and post-operative follow-up services, but you definitely have to consider the airfare! My advice is to watch a few consultation videos and ask about the methods for remote communication after the surgery. This will make you feel more at ease when you return home.
Hi Pat! I'm also considering going to Seoul and wanted to ask if you've inquired with the local hospitals about their post-operative follow-up procedures? My biggest worry is what to do if there are any problems after I get back 😅
