Hello, I'm Lisa. I've been debating this for a while, but I'm seriously considering getting double eyelid surgery in Seoul. I know I could get it done in Japan, but after researching, I've found that clinics in Seoul seem to offer more options, and I'm also curious about the prices... However, I'm worried that going from overseas might be difficult with travel costs and the time needed for post-operative check-ups.
For those who have come from abroad for surgery, what was your experience like? I'm particularly interested in how many days after surgery you could return to your daily life, and what kind of support is available if any complications arise. Also, some clinics seem to offer online consultations, but I wonder if it's better to go in person for a direct consultation for peace of mind...
I haven't even figured out the cost yet, and when I factor in travel expenses, I sometimes think it might end up being cheaper to have it done in Japan. How do you all make your decisions? I'd appreciate hearing about your experiences to help me decide.
