I'm Nga, living in Vietnam, and I recently had the idea of getting double eyelid surgery in Seoul. I've looked through many articles and videos about K-beauty aesthetics, and it seems the quality there is quite good. But I'm wondering if it's worth investing the time and cost of flying there, and then staying for the recovery period? Can someone help me consider the factors I need to think about?

I understand that labor costs in Seoul might be different from Vietnam, and luckily I have a friend there so I have a place to stay. But I'm still worried about things like: how long does the recovery take, do I need to return to Seoul for follow-up appointments, and are there any risks of having surgery abroad that I haven't considered? I'm not sure if I should get it done in Hanoi or actually fly over.

Has anyone gone through this? How did you decide between getting it done in your home country versus flying abroad? I really need advice from those with experience. Thank you everyone! 🙏
