Hi, I'm Hạnh from Vietnam and I'm planning to go to Seoul for beauty consultations, but I'm a bit worried about the language barrier 😅 My English is pretty basic, and I don't speak Korean at all. Has anyone here done consultations there using just English? Or should I find a translator, or call ahead to ask if they have English-speaking staff?
I'm planning this trip but I want to prepare step by step — I don't want to show up confused or run into communication difficulties. I really like to be clear about what I want, especially when it comes to health and aesthetics.
I know most places in Seoul usually have international clients, so there's probably a way to make it work? But I'd still love to hear from people who've actually done it. Thanks so much, ladies! 🙏

Honestly, I was nervous the first time I went too. But if you can book online beforehand, try sending them notes or reference photos ahead of time. It really helps the staff understand what you want. Then on the day, take your time, speak slowly, use gestures, and share how you're feeling—it makes a big difference. You don't need to say a lot 🥺
I'm also thinking about going to Seoul and honestly the language barrier has been a concern for me too! But from what I've read, a lot of places there have English-speaking staff, so maybe we can both try asking around before we go. That's a really good idea to prepare thoroughly like this, because clear communication is definitely important, especially when it comes to health and beauty treatments.
