Hello, my name is Som and I'm planning my first beauty trip to South Korea 😊 The problem is, my Korean is almost non-existent. I can only speak Thai and English.
So, I wanted to ask if anyone has been to check-ups at clinics in Seoul? Is English okay? Is that important for consultations about my needs? Or should I find a Thai-Korean translator to go with me?
Especially since I'm going with a friend who doesn't speak English... it might be a bit difficult 😅 Has anyone traveled alone and managed with English okay? Or should I book with places that offer Thai interpreters? I'd love some advice from those who have been there. Thank you!

Hi Som! I'm curious, when you consulted in English, were they able to explain in detail what you wanted? Because I'm also worried about something being missed in communication 😅
I'm also Vietnamese, so I understand how you feel 😊 From my experience, many places in Seoul have English-speaking staff, but it's not always great, especially when it comes to technical details. I recommend contacting them beforehand via email or chat to ask if they can assist in English, or consider bringing a friend along for extra support!
